The B1 Business Visitor visa is available to visitors seeking short-term entry into the U.S. to engage in legitimate business activities of a commercial or professional nature that do not involve receiving salary or payment of any kind from a U.S. source. The business activities of a commercial or professional nature including, but not limited to:

▪ Traveling for a scientific, educational, professional or business convention, or a conference on specific dates
▪ Settling an estate
▪ Negotiating a contract
▪ Participating in short-term training

5. You are otherwise admissible to the United States.
